Sight-seeing has left me wishing I had no sight at all
Can’t even stand a glimpse of humanity at the brink of its fall
Left with the scene of only the everlasting abyss
Stories unfold, the revelation of a distorted bliss
Alone with unspoken thoughts I ponder
Visions infiltrate the mind with corpses drawn asunder
Heart to heart correspondences fail out of proportion
A premature apocalypse is my spirit’s intuition
I am daunted despite a smile; a form of propaganda
I am forced or maybe likened to jump across my veranda
The light at the end is nowhere to be seen
